Conjured from the mind of a disgruntled songwriter from Northern Ireland with no band in late 2011, TurboShandy is a one-man powerpop project inspired by alcohol, sugar, and girls. The music takes its cue from bands like Ramones, the Wildhearts, 90s/00s pop punk, post punk, and pretty much anything with big hooks they think cool. Their first mini-album, 'No Wonder No One Talks to Her' was released in August 2012 and a follow up is currently being written.
