A song about the Doppleganger - “the ghostly apparition of a living person,” by some accounts; according to others, a supernatural evil twin, identical to you in every way, bent on your destruction, heralding bad luck nearly everywhere they appear.

For the musical elements of the challenge, I snuck in both aspects. The entire song sits over a pedal of A; for drones, the bulk of the internal voices for the vocal sit squarely on middle C, and D directly above it, without moving.

On the outer edge of hearing -

On the corner - in the crosswalk -
At the counter, getting coffee -
