you could walk on water and I wouldn't even know you could turn back time and I wouldn't want to go if you ran so fast you'd still stop me in my tracks because you take my breath away in a super natural way if you had the strength of an army I'd miss your tenderness if you flew to outer space I'd miss your sweet caress if you could speak to the animals you would hear them say in their super natural way it's because of you who you are it's because of how you act it's because of what you do and what you stand for it's your super natural way
2.
It’s been said that the way to live forever is to love and be therefore remembered Who decides when it’s time for a memory to die When you’re dead you can’t make amends or surrender the vices you carried in life All the time where you could have made things right I will haunt you From either side of the grave And if I should die before I wake, let this anger a banshee make Let the sound find its way to keep you awake But if I survive let the thought of me thrive and encumber the steps that you take May my life hang on your neck as a weight
3.
scattered artifacts all over the floor nameless police gathering shadows at your door in case of fire, escape; in case of monsters, run a subtly shifted landscape underneath an amber sun you touch the light behind the mirror time and space will unfurtl why would I want to keep you here when you walk in two different worlds? wasted years dreaming through the alarms while you were content to kiss a stranger goodbye with that kind of power who knows who I'd do harm? looking everywhere except into your eyes... when I know they're just like mine it's all under your command you've got your hand on the door pretend you don't understand we walk in two different worls let's say I'm thinking of diving in you keep on playing when you know the move that wins I slice the mirror, open my eyes and leap forward once we touch the ground you'll wonder what you waited for we touch the light behind the mirror shine where it's never touched before why did I shy away from here where we walk in two different worlds we walk in two different worlds

It started as a shadow In the corner of your vision - Briefly there, and quickly gone. It started as a whisper On the outer edge of hearing - The hiss of angry static From a radio gone wrong. On the corner - in the crosswalk - At the counter, getting coffee - In the window of the subway, Sanding clear of closing doors - Every crowd of noisy strangers Is a threat to your composure From repeated passing glimpses Of a face you thought was yours. You can feel it follow. It’s a primal recognition: Every move you make, it’s there, Everywhere you run to. With a rising tide of panic, You run blindly down the alley And it’s caught you unaware. When it corners you completely, There’s a sudden revelation: If you do not kill your double, You’ll do worse today than die. It’s a fucked up funhouse mirror When you turn around to face it And you see the goddamn devil Looking back from your own eyes…

I walk around the Himalayas with a Nikon strapped to my neck I've got a bag with a tripod in it and I'm on a quest to find him. I will climb the highest peak and trek through the valleys below Broken branches and abnormal footprints tell me where to you How can I how can I how can I how can I how can I how can I Summon the yeti I must I must I must I must I must I must I must I must I must I must Document the yeti Ten foot hairy sucker covered in fuzz Bipedal like he's our species' cuz See his silhouette against the cedars at dusk Know you're on the trail when you smell his musk Hear a branch crack and I know it's sus Track him down I must I must Yetis are good at avoiding us Disappear without a cloud of dust How can I how can I how can I how can I how can I how can I Summon the yeti I must I must I must I must I must I must I must I must I must I must Document the yeti When you play Ski Free Don't hit a tree Just take the ramp I will have my pictures all over the tabloids I will be famous you'll know who I am boy Trekking on terrain most trekkers would avoid I will find him on my own, I don't need a convoy When I finally find him I will be so overjoyed I will not shut up about it you will get annoyed I will not stop till I find this elusive humanoid If someone's beat me to it then the record's been destroy How can I how can I how can I how can I how can I how can I Summon the yeti I must I must I must I must I must I must I must I must I must I must Document the yeti

Soon as I get home Distant and alone No one cares about the state I’m in Scrolling through my phone Triggered undertones Pricks me like a poison of a pin I can tell it’s 3 AM again. Tinkering with toys Silent through the noise Hiding to protect my innocence Still the urges come Slavery to some Dragging through my head until it ends Not before it’s 3 AM again. Why am I awake? Why am I awake? Nightmares seem to be Somewhere in between what we call is real and what’s a dream Things of what I’ve done Things of what’s to come Things that keep me wide awake in bed Sure enough it’s 3 AM again. Why am I awake? (Wouldn’t you like to know?) (Wouldn’t you like to know?) Why am I awake? (Wouldn’t you like to know?) (Wouldn’t you like to know?) Why am I awake? (Wouldn’t you like to know?) (Wouldn’t you like to know?) Why am I awake?
7.
You’re the answer to the question That the world refuse to ask You’re the power in the mystery The man behind the mask It’s incredible to me That the culture of our kind Is too skeptical to see The transformation from behind You defy the science You define the truth You deny the chaos You decide the use No one can accept the hidden motions that you do But everyone is searching Everyone is searching for you When we get ourselves in trouble You bring us out ahead When we should have been discarded You raise us from the dead We expect an explanation We demand to know it now But my favorite thing about you Is you never show us how You defy the science You define the truth You deny the chaos You decide the use No one can accept the hidden motions that you do But everyone is searching Everyone is searching for you If life is an equation Then you’re the missing link They may label you a variable But you’re more than that to me When will we acknowledge That whatever we can see Are all selective knowledge From whatever we want to believe? (But you’re more than that me) You defy the science You define the truth You deny the chaos You decide the use No one can accept the hidden motions that you do But everyone is searching Everyone is searching for you Everyone is searching...

I labour over empty boxes Building lifetimes from the clues If I let go then I let you win But either way I lose And I can’t erase the past And I can’t find the words to Fill the space inside I stare blankly at the edges Thinking maybe if I squint Then it will all come clear and I’ll see the truth and Find what fits But I can’t erase the past And I can’t find a way to Figure this thing out The horoscopes on the facing page Tell me when and what and how to feel And I wish I could believe them But we both know that magic isn’t real So now I’m on my own I think I’ll Solve this one in pen And if I get the answer wrong I guess that I’ll cross it out And start again I fumble through my pencil case For the right shade of graphite If I press down hard enough It’ll look like black and white But I can’t erase the past And I can’t find any leads to Follow through The horoscopes on the facing page Tell me when and what and how to feel And I wish I could believe them But we both know magic isn’t real So now I’m on my own I think I’ll Solve this one in pen And if I get the answer wrong I guess that I’ll cross it out And start again And I want to explain it all away With fantasies and fairy dust Find the answers in the stars Read the future in the cards I could hide away in stories Pretend that this was meant to be But the simple truth explains it best that You just didn’t care enough for me I labour over empty boxes Building lifetimes from the clues If I let go then I let you win But either way I lose And I can’t erase the past And I just can’t figure this thing out So now I’m on my own I think I’ll Solve this one in pen And if I get the answer wrong I guess that I’ll cross it out and start again I’ll start again credits
