As if it fit some genre conventions
Where a single pattern didn't stretch to cover the entire dimensions

As if any others have 5 melodies, none of them static
Let's halve the length, no need for dynamics
These parts need no room to breathe
I need not moan. I need not seethe

Everything should adhere to the norms of pop
Screw trance, what the hell is bop
It all needs a verse-chorus structure, and a 3 minutes length
There can be no other strength

Never mind that my vocals are clearer than they've ever been
Tell me how you can't make them out on sheer listening
It definitely won't make me less inclined to write any more
I'll just have to roll my eyes harder than before

I used to be excited to read the reviews
To relisten with a smile while considering your views
