This song is written from the perspective of my Mother who passed away in 2021 after a fall, a brain injury and a long battle with leukemia. I think this is more or less what she was trying to say the last four months of her life. At least, this is how I wish she would have said it.

Modulation: The song starts in D# major and moves to A# major on the bridge/instrumental section (starting at 1:42) and back to D# major for the second/last chorus (at 2:10).
