The two seemingly unrelated things i’ve paired in my track are compliments and rivers.

This track incorporates a shift from 3/4 in the Steves to 5/4 in the Choruses, for both the musical *flow* but also as the metaphorical *flow* of the songs theme, the outro is in 4/4 to further push this idea of *flow*.

The key of this track is also rather ambiguous, flipping between major and minor tonalities in ways that are unexpected, but also hopefully in ways that make sense, to give the track a brightness that also fits this songs theme.

The river flows as it always has, and always will be flowing fast.
