the second i saw what the challenge was i knew i wanted to write something about rain, the first lyric in the song is literally the first lyric i came up with. this song isnt that deep and its not supposed to be, i just like rain.

this track is mostly in the Dorian scale, except for one section where the root note is a wholestep higher, switching to the Phrygian scale. i was tempted to make this song a bit longer featuring a second drop but i decided to keep it short- theres only so much you can say about rain and there was no point in making it longer.
