The story of the song takes place on the Tour du Mont Blanc (TMB), a trek through the French, Italian, and Swiss Alps that, in this case, starts and ends in Chamonix, proceeding counterclockwise. Each verse is a circle, starting and ending with the same proposed itinerary for the stops along the way. As the singer progresses around the route, we come back to Chamonix, completing the overall circle of the song.
