This is part of a batch of lyrics I didn't get until March 2nd, 2001. On Aug 12th, 2009 I asked William for an explanation. Since he responded in email, for the first time ever I had a real explanation from the lyricist as to what the frak he was thinking:

“It’s about a girl who lived in one of the neighborhoods I grew up in. Her family lived a block up the street and I hung around with her older brother. I was probably 11 at the time and she was 5, I think, and would want to follow us around and we were always thinking of ways to get away from her. Then years later I ran into her at a restaurant and we went out a couple of times. I eventually realized she had a couple of screws loose – broken. I never knew who she was going to be one date to the next."
