Clouds inside her mind send lighting to her eyes
I’ve watched a hundred times and know her warning signs
Satan’s on her shoulder and tells her what I told her
Are foggy fabrications creeping slow like vines

It’s a wild fire, and I tire
From running through the smoke
There’re words I’m trying to choke out here
Through muck and mire, could have inspired
But it’s blowing away, in this darkening gray
