and my needy, pathetic roommate
sprawls before my bedroom door
singing the song of her people
as if I've never heard it before

it is ignored...

and she is such excite
as I go through my morning paces
she never learned it's not polite
to put your butt in people's faces

and while I'm off to corporate humdrum
she's patrolling through the house
protecting us from evil
so long as it's not an evil mouse
